Pichaya Wongchompoo

Operations Director · Chiang Mai

We ran the Decision Framework Workshop with our senior team after two years of growing quickly without ever agreeing on how decisions should work. The session was well-paced. There was nothing prescriptive about it — the consultant asked the right questions and let us work through the answers ourselves. The one-page document we left with has actually been used in meetings since.

HR Lead · Bangkok / Chiang Mai

The onboarding programme Brackenfold designed for us replaced a process that was entirely word-of-mouth and manager-dependent. We now have something consistent that works across both our Bangkok and Chiang Mai offices. The handbook is plain enough that we've been able to update it ourselves as things change — which was the point.

Co-Founder · Nimman District

We used Brackenfold for a half-day session to get our founding team aligned on some operational questions we'd been circling around for months. Having someone outside the room to facilitate made a real difference — people spoke more directly. The written summary they sent afterwards was clear and actually reflected what had been agreed, which isn't always the case with these kinds of sessions.

Managing Director · Northern TH

I appreciated that the fee was stated upfront before any conversation about scope. That is not common. The workshop itself was straightforward — the consultant prepared properly, the agenda was relevant to what we'd discussed in the scoping call, and the session didn't run long. The output was simple and useable. I'd recommend it to other businesses our size.

We'd gone through two different consultants on onboarding before finding Brackenfold. The difference was that this engagement started from what we actually had and what our new hires were actually experiencing — not from a template. The handbook covers everything and our managers have stopped having to reinvent the first week for each new person.

Team Lead · Technology Sector

We booked the half-day facilitation for a retrospective that had been delayed twice because no one wanted to run it. Having an outside facilitator took the internal politics out of the room somewhat. The consultant was well-prepared and the session moved at a good pace. We'd use this service again for similar situations.

Case Studies

A closer look at three engagements

Case 01 Hospitality business · Chiang Mai · Decision Workshop

The challenge

A boutique hotel group with three properties and a management team of nine people had grown to the point where overlapping decision authority between property managers and the central team was causing delays and occasional contradictions in how staff were directed.

The engagement

A one-day Decision Framework Workshop, preceded by a scoping call with the managing director and two property managers. The session mapped each category of decision against who currently made it, who should, and how consultation should work in practice.

The outcome

The team left with a one-page decision framework used in subsequent manager meetings. Within six weeks, the managing director reported that escalations to central management had dropped noticeably and that property managers were operating with greater clarity.

Case 02 Technology services firm · Multi-location TH · Onboarding Design

The challenge

A software company hiring eight to ten people per quarter had no consistent onboarding process. Different managers ran first weeks differently, recent hires reported confusion about access, tools, and expectations, and time-to-productivity varied significantly by team.

The engagement

A five-week onboarding programme design engagement. The consultant reviewed existing materials, conducted structured interviews with six recent hires and their managers, and drafted a complete onboarding flow. Two review sessions were held before final delivery.

The outcome

The delivered handbook standardised the first quarter across all teams and locations. The HR lead updated the document twice in the first three months after delivery — both times without needing outside help. The company reported faster onboarding consistency across the next two hiring cohorts.

Case 03 Creative agency · Nimman · Workshop Facilitation

The challenge

A design and communications agency with twelve staff was navigating a shift in how projects were scoped and priced. The partners had differing views on the approach, and internal discussions had been circular for two months.

The engagement

A half-day facilitation session focused on surfacing the key disagreements and working toward a shared position. The consultant prepared with a scoping call and structured the session to give each perspective space before moving toward synthesis.

The outcome

The partners reached a working position during the session. The written summary documented the agreed approach and the points still under discussion, giving the team a clear record of where things stood. The co-founders described the session as having cleared space for a decision the team had been deferring.
